My purpose for creating this blog is to share with new authors a variety of different topics related to writing--advice I wish I had received before I wrote the first draft of my first novel. The content of each blog post will be brief and is intended to be just a starting point for understanding basic premises. There is no shortage of more in-depth advice on the Internet, in text books and in classrooms.
